Jamie was just trying to backtrack after his diplomatic bill him and the Squad wrote up (which I support) was wrongly and horribly struck down by the Neocon, imperialist warmongers within the Uniparty. So I am fine with Jamie Raskin’s quote above since I see it was forced virtue signaling

The US never would have tried to make Russia be Liberal 2.0 on social issues as some Democrats said if Russia didn’t intervene in Ukraine. The Democrats say because of Russia’s intervention in Ukraine, the US is just taking advantage of this conflict (or even punishing Russia by) to spread Liberal 2.0 values in Russia. Wrong still *yes, but not the end of the world

*This makes it more imperative to get the US to stay out of this conflict ,or for the US to reduce funding for Ukraine by ending the blank checks or most ideally to find a diplomatic solution between Russia and Ukraine to end this conflict

It is still cringe for the US to spread their Liberal 2.0 values via wars and foreign intervention including in Russia. Focus on improving US not Russia

It is wrong for the US to try to impose Liberal 2.0/progressive values onto other countries. Remember when neocon warmonger imperialist Christopher Hitchens wanted to "bomb Afghanistan out of the Stone Age,”.? So its just as wrong now to do such things to Russia, Belarus, China, Somalia, modern Afghanistan or any country that Liberal 2.0ers and Democrats deem as 'backward' 

Maybe as a solution Jamie Raskin's concerns about anti LGBTQ sentiment in other countries, we can get the US to use congressman George Santos's idea of cutting funding for all anti LGBTQ countries, which would include Russia, but also include anti LGBTQ countries like Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, Estonia, Poland etc.
